STEM Subject Lead - Primary School Gr R - 7

Purpose of Role:

The primary objective of the STEM Subject Lead is to elevate our STEM education standards and ensure our scholars are equipped with the critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical skills needed for future success. This role is integral to our mission of providing a world-class education and preparing our scholars for the demands of the 21st century.

Reports To: Primary School Curriculum and Assessment Manager

Responsibilities:

  • The STEM Subject Lead will be expected to:
    • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and expertise in Science, Technology and Mathematics at the Intersen phase
    • Develop high-quality STEM assessments and tasks that inspire and challenge teachers and scholars.
    • Foster a collaborative team environment, working closely with colleagues to share best practices and innovative teaching strategies.
