Operations and Risk Manager

Join an organization at the forefront of improving health by transforming care through Centering® groups

About Centering Healthcare Institute

Centering Healthcare Institute is a non-profit organization that works closely with healthcare providers from all sectors to change healthcare. Our mission is to improve health, transform care, and disrupt inequitable systems through the Centering group model. Centering empowers patients, strengthens patient-provider relationships, and builds communities through three main components: health assessment, interactive learning, and community building. We are driven to create a future where the risk of preterm birth, the inequities of Black women dying from pregnancy-related causes, and the disparities in early childhood are significantly reduced - so that every child has the potential to enjoy future life chances, social and economic opportunities, and overall well-being. With over two decades of experience as the go-to resource for group care, we’ve developed and sustained the Centering model in nearly 500 practice sites and some of the largest health systems in the world.

About the Opportunity

Centering Healthcare Institute (CHI) is experiencing significant growth and excited to embark on our ambitious plan to bring the Centering model to more healthcare providers nationwide. Growing our impact requires an equity-driven, hands-on manager to support execution of our day-to-day operations, including helping to create and implement new processes, refine existing processes, and identify gaps and risks. We seek someone passionate about creating and building out a national, remote risk management program and working with key managers to prepare for risk in proactive ways. Working closely with the Leadership team and cross-functional managers, our Operations and Risk Manager will support leading CHI’s operational infrastructure that can cover all areas of internal administration, including communication, finance, human resources, meetings, and technology strategies to shape the future growth of the organization.
