African Leadership Academy (ALA) is dedicated to transforming Africa by cultivating a network of young leaders who are equipped to tackle the continent's challenges. Since its inception in 2008, ALA has enrolled 1,771 students from over 38,000 applicants, showcasing a commitment to diversity with representation from 47 African countries. The academy offers various programs, including the Anzisha Prize and Global Scholars Program, and provides significant financial assistance, with 95% of students receiving support. ALA alumni have made a substantial impact, securing $230 million in scholarships and creating over 1,258 jobs through 508 ventures, positioning ALA as a leader in developing future African leaders.
